Wildprechtroda

Wildprechtroda has been a district of Bad Salzung since 1950. The village lies southeast of the core town Bad Salzungen at the Werra tributary Pfitzbach on an area of 166 hectares.

The centre of the district is formed by the castle, the church and the village community centre, the outer façade of which was designed in 2017 with a large-scale graffiti with a village character. In addition, the village square was renovated in the same year.

In Wildprechtroda there is the town cemetery "An den Eichäckern", which extends over an area of 5.5 hectares and has been in use since 2000.
