Dorf Allendorf

Dorf Allendorf is located east of the city centre, south of the Werra, on the national road 1121 and the federal road 62. The district covers an area of 280 hectares.

Dorf Allendorf was incorporated into Bad Salzungen in 1950, however, it belonged to the urban core first and only became an independent district in 2014. After the local elections in 2014, Dorf Allendorf got its first disctrict mayor and district council.

The district is committed to its own events and to continuing and reviving old traditions.
